A memorial stone for British Nuclear Test Veterans.

This memorial stone caught my eye when I was in the grounds of Leeds Minster (what was the Parish Church) on June 25 2015. Though I had been in the area a few times recently I had not noticed the memorial stone before, which is for people that took part in the Atomic Test Programme. The wording in the design at the top reads "British Nuclear Test Veterans Association" with "Combined Services" below that.

The stone, which is immediately behind the War Memorial on Kirkgate, looks new so I wonder if anyone knows when it was placed there?

Based on its appearance and seeming lack of weathering of the stone I would not have thought it was done 17 years back. It is good to see that it is clearly being maintained very well. My observation skills must also be very poor to have not noticed (or at least not recalled noticing) the stone before!
