I just wondered whether the site is backed up on any servers?there is a lot of wonderful information on here and it needs saving.I ask because a major forum on another subject that i lok at just suffered a complete server failure whic hwiped out all their date for 2007-2008 because they hadn't backed anything up.

A while ago I had the bright idea of printing out the older stuff - two printers and three trees later, hardly made a dent and left War & Peace well behind.Back-up seems much more sensible!

Thanks for the replies on this. i would think it could at a pinch be backed up to an external hard drive at present.

You know, a thought would be a simple way to down-load it all as a copy - but technically, not one for wiggy - or me! Nice thought though.

And after a quick visit from my little boy who knows about these things, this toohttp://downloads.zdnet.co.uk/0,1000000375,39055369s,00.htmThe full version costs a few bob but not as much as the new hard drive you might need if your pretty full.Don't ask me how it works - my eyes don't work as fast as his fingers - just a blur as it all happens in front of me. Oh for the days when he was young and needed helping with these things....!
