I lived in Armley until 1968 attending the Clock school, Castleton and Armley Park class of 65. Lived in the Beeches which I understand are no longer there, then moved to Aviary Row. Spent many a happy school holiday in Armley Park, down on the canal fishing and swimming at Armley baths. If anyone has fond memories of Armley or attended these schools between 1955-1965 please share. Who knows maybe we attended school together

I was there from 57-60 and was in Mr. Lee's class in 60. I remember listening to Yuri Gagarin going into space on the old PA system and also Coco the clown coming to do road safety classes. Remember Mr. Lee giving spelling and multiplication tests everyday. Didn't he have a Ford Anglia? Remember going on Samuel Ledgards coaches for school trips.Went to Armley Park in 1960 or Armley Borstal as it was fondly known.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but. I have lost track with a couple of people I went to Armley Park School with in 1960-1965 and would really appreciate if anyone can help. Their names are Andrew Slater last I heard went into the fire service and Brian Eager who went into the police force. Many thanks if you can help.
