Good stuff if you like a bit of nostalgia Amazing how time rolls by beast - our big day in Otley was no less than five years ago, Ooctober 14th 2007, to mark the passing of forty years since West Yorkshire took over. It was specially important to me because it was fifty years almost to the day since I started at Otley depot (now Kwikfit) as a young and eager conductor !! I would love to turn back the clock and do it all again.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

i went to this running day a great day out with old buses running to skipton otley ilkley and bolton abbey railway station .this years aire valley transport running day based at skipton and bolton abbey had to be cancelled .but there is a rally at the piece hall halifax with buses running to the sportsman inn on 28th of oct.
