Hi all, i have been looking at Leodis, like i do everyday, and going through the Far Fold area of Armley and think they have got a few wrong. is it me or do they not tie up?. here is photo http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... SPLAY=FULL it clearly states that the one with A Ford above the door is 22, and the one to the right is 14 Far Fold. This is correct as they were my Uncle Alberts and Connies house's. now if you go to this pic http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... LAY=FULLit matches the previous photo, just from the view infront of the house. now here i what else i have found : http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... Y=FULLthis states 14, 15, 16 Far Fold. how can this be it states that no 14 with door open has windows on the gable end? impossible as the pic above shows next to no 12 which has been knocked down. also http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... FULLstates this is no 22 Far Fold.??? is it me or do you guys see the error?. Weenie

Do't know, but when I've raised a few points with them they've been friendly and quick to correct or refute (when I got it badly wrong)

Your task is to upload in excess of 52,000 archive images onto a web site. (well not just you).2. Your task is to then input written data about the photo, as it comes (whether right or wrong).3. Make sure at image 44,523 that you don't accidentally input 52 instead of 25.4. Then provide this amazing resource free of charge to the grateful locals.I've seen a few about an area I know like the back of my hand, but hey..PSOh, and Captain Oates was born in Putney and the Family lived in Essex (did I mention that?).

I have even had "are you sure because we think" emails from them on some comments I've made. I have donated over 100 pics to Leodis, I sent a detailed description, date (approx' in some cases) and they still got about a dozen described wrong, some because 'they thought it was somewhere else' even though I knew 'cos it was our old street and my uncle was in the pic.
Sit thissen dahn an' tell us abaht it.
