I get that the poses in the 'Age of Brick' are based on Antony Gormley's Leeds Brick Man (the last image on page 2 of the 'Age of Brick' set) and the poses in the 'Age of Bronze' are based on Auguste Rodin's Age of Bronze' (the last image on page 3 of the 'Age of Bronze' set). The artistic merit though eludes me but then I don't claim to have any talent in seeing that.

They put a lot of work into their project:"We walked from Leeds City Art Gallery across the city towards London, on the following day we left the gallery and took a south-easterly path towards Brussels. We walked for six hours each day, re-staging the pose and stance of the sculpture at ten-minute intervals for a digital photograph. Each walk took us to the very edge of the city, beyond the motorway, to the very edge of our map. "They might wonder why they are getting a few more views of their photos this evening, six years after they took them!

Yes I agree it's pretty useless, but as Tasa says they thought up an idea and went and did it. I admire the fact he didn't mind making a fool of himself in public whatever.
