Weekend events 'heads up'

Just in case you're planning on visiting the city centre tomorrow (Saturday 25th):Demonstrations are expected on Friday 24-02-12 and Saturday 25-02-12 against the Conservative local government conference which is taking place at the Queens Hotel, City Square.A static demonstration on City Square is expected on Friday starting around 0930hrs.A march from Woodhouse Moor to City Square via Albion Street, The Headrow, Vicar Lane and Boar Lane will take place on Saturday starting around 1130. A rally will then take place in City Square from around 1230 to 1400. Some traffic disruption may be encountered on that day. Policing operations will take place both days.I love this comment: "Some traffic disruption may be encountered on that day." Some? I'd say that route pretty much guarantees it!
