Would anybody have any idea what this building is currently used for and is it the premises that were formerly the “Room at the Top” club? [It's at the bottom of North Street, opposite the "Hand Car Wash" place.

Don't know what it is now, but here's a glimpse of it in a former life on Leodis:http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... =FULLWhile looking for it, I found this grisly tale: http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... AY=FULLand this - look how grand and elegant the site of the ABC cinema was in 1872. Amazing.http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... PLAY=FULLI love Leodis, me. Sorry for the hijack!

A recent picture of the rear of the building was posted in Flickr in the past few days. The amount of heat exchangers hung on the bak of the building was out of all proportion to the amount of air-con a small building could have. Thanks fro the answer.

Small world, isn't it? I worked there 2 years ago. That building, the bank & the little one between them are owned by 186k, a local ADSL wholesale & hosting company.
