Does anyone have a photo of the Rover shop that was at the top of Briggate circa 1992/4

I remember it being there, it had the 8-series cars in it, I seem to recall?

Yea I think it probably did have an 800 series in it. The shop didn't last long after the BMW takeover of Rover

Wasn't it where Muji is or one down in the old Dixons?

The 'Food for thought' thread has posts to the bottom of its page 1 and the top of page 2 that may help with this thread. This (if it works!) is the link to the 'Food for thought' thread http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messag ... tMessage=0

Strangely, I have absolutey no idea why I do not remember that.

On a similar, yet divergent, line; When the Ridings Centre opened in Wakefield, 'Calderfords'(local Ford main-dealer, now a 'Polar') displayed some Escort mk3s, & Orions on the top level, as the current models (still got some prints in an album)When they went, there was a cafe built thereI'm not sure what's in the place now???, as I only really go in for WH Smiths)
