Hello all, I'm hoping you may be able to help or maybe point me in the right direction for this.I'm currently making a (very low budget) film in and around Leeds/Bradford areas and am on the look out for good locations to film in. The plot for the film calls for abandoned areas - streets, buildings, shops, houses etc. We've found some good places, but need some more now, so am asking for help.I'm also looking for somewhere empty that comes across as secure - such as, surrounded in metal gates, like a small school for example. This is for the ending of the film (we recently lost a location) and therefore may get a little messy with fake blood. Because of this, the building would need to be abandoned/due for demolition.Any help of advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks,Rich

I know what you mean, and yeah that is a great location. I've been down that way a few times and it's on the list to use (thanks to Screen Yorkshire).

There are those who might suggest parts of Sheffield are due for demolition

The old bear pit springs to mind.
