Mysterious and Suspect Psychics

Was looking up the flyer pics for the lithuanian scam thread and came across these, so i figured i'd start a thread about them.All about 6-8 years old and i don;t think i've had any since then, have left the contact details on as clearly the originators of them didn;t object to their details going through the letterbox of a total stranger, and they are likely out of date now anyway.Mr Shark is a strangely prophetic name for a dodgy psychic... you would trust someone called Mr Shark how far! Some of the claims are quite odd too, Suema apparently can not just stop you from haring voices but also cure 'polo' and stop your family from marrying outside your culture(!)

There was a similiar advert in Metro last year.As the Fraudulent mediums Act of 1951 was quietly repealed by the last government ,these matters now come under trading Standards.Fake psychics can be prosecuted for offering services under false pretences!

If you look at the adverts for such evenings in the YEP, or in theatre "what's on" listings, they are now billed as "entertainment only".

ALL 'psychics' are frauds. Its a form of trickery perfected in victorian times and still practiced on gullible people. If they take money for it they are are also charlatans and criminals. Steve - there's no such thing, legally or actually, as a 'Fake psychic'. The term is a non-sequiter -they are all, by definition, fakes.

It's like those who fall for such as the so called 'Nigerian' email scams where people believe they will be given a lot of money for helping somebody take out even more money from the emailer's country that they could not otherwise take out. Or that where they believe they have won a lottery that they never entered. I have sympathy for susceptible people but not those who should have known better.I have a sure fire cannot fail method of doubling your money which I shall only reveal on an agreed pre-payment. Oh what the heck as I'm feeling generous you can have it for free. Fold your paper money in half.
