Before Christmas I offered them so 45 year old 8mm film which included bits of East Leeds, just on the off-chance there may be some interes before it disintegrates. Not even an acknowledgement from them.

The 8 o'clock special runs 'main line' from Bramleythro'Stanningley not via the Pudsey branch.Stations en route would be Armley Moor,Bramley,Stanningley,Laisterdyke .

For some reason i remember reading something about this and it definitely said Armley Moor as one of the stops. Must wathc it now.

I know it didn't go along the Pudsey loop line there Dogduke, the tunnel you see is Laisterdyke, not Greenside.I mistakenly called the old closed sation near Pudsey, it indeed was Stanningley. Stanningley station was a lot nearer to Pudsey than 'new Pudsey' station is situated now lol Stanningley closed on 30 December 1967, having supposedly been replaced by New Pudsey, although the two catchment areas were largely different.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Pudsey_railway_station
