Nags Head Farnley was open at the weekend,I think it opened around Xmas time but it seems to be hit & miss.(possibly w/ends)Just thought it better we have a thread where S/L's can let others know which pubs are still open. The YEP could print a list each week it wouldn't take up much space.Armley/Wortley/FarnleyMalt ShovelWhite HorseCommercialRoyal OakBrickBeechStarFleeceOldfieldQueenHanoverWilliamButterbowlBeulahGamecockNookAll Definitely Open(for now anyway)

I did find it amusing that Greg "Soundbite" Mullholland goes on about how these pubs are the centre of communities. I quote:-" The pub plays an essential role in communities acting as a focal point which brings people together".What about the old, the young and families?. I would have said that village halls, libraries and doctors surgeries are more important.Whilst I feel for the landlords, the pub trade is no less immune than any other business when it comes to this recesson..
