But I've liked Martin Wainwright ever since he sent himself up by doing a "road" programme series on Radio Four called "Born to be Mild" in the nineties. The programme followed the A34 from Manchester to Winchester and was very good indeed. The mode of transport was not a Harley but a Reliant Kitten. TBH I don't think it would be difficult for Martin to rediscover his Leeds accent if he wanted to. After all Alan Bennett did.
