Just in case you were planning going down any holes in the ground or even doing normal things like a family day out, there's a weather warning for Friday and Satruday. Heavy rain and possible flooding, particulalry in the east of the region and into Northumberland.

Great!!I'm down at Newark on Saturday for the Land Rover show.http://www.lrmshow.com/That should allow me time for a side-visit to Newark Air Museum - to see their Vulcan & Lightninghttp://www.newarkairmuseum.org/Their Lightning's iin far better condition than the one in the scrap-yard at the side of the A1 at Baldersby (east loop of A1 round Newark)Returning via a trip back up the old route of The Great North Road, & over John Smeatons viaduct (a far better lookingstructure than the one named after him in Leedshttp://www.biffvernon.freeserve.co.uk/smeaton' ... htmRetford, Scrooby Top, Bawtry, etc.....Then............I'm racing a Cyclo-Cross up at Ampleforth College on the SundaySo, I could get very wet on 2 consecutive days.
