Well Virginwant to - and from you if you're a customer - beware!A letter received today tells us,'You haven't received regular bills from us in the past, so you may have thought this (monthly charges for paper bills) doesn't apply to you. However to help you see what you're spending, (!) we're providing all our customers with monthly bills from July 2009. Up until now, we've prtoected you from the £1.25 paper bill cost, but we need to let you know that this will come into effect for you from 5 July'Graciously they invite you to sign-up for paperLESS billing (presumabley whether you already have or not) to avoid the charge. In effect, Virgin are going to start sending you regular bills which you haven't asked for and charge you for the priviledge unless you register to do otherwise.Seems to me that this is a rather less than morally agreeable action and some might say not the behaviour of a respectable organisation but, something which will certainly be of help to Virgin's coffers. No wonder Mr Branson is always smiling - Don't Get Caught Out!

We are also with Virgin for our TV, Phone and Broadband.I have always paid by direct debit but when my bill arrivedin May I found an extra £1.25 added. When I rang them someone called Rupert from outer Mongolia said that they had sent me a letter informing me of this. I have had no such letter and told them this, but he was adament he would not refund me the money. I was furious and signed for paperless billing. I also sent an email complaining and informed them I would be going elsewhere. The next day they rang me and refunded the money but also added that if I had not had the letter did I know the price of my broadband had also increased? When I told them that I had been told when I took the package the price of £8.50 a month was guaranteed whilst I stayed with them. He told me it was to pay for increased speed. I told him I was quite happy with what I had so he refunded me that as well. Then offered to give me an upgrade on my TV package free for a month. I declined. Hopefully if more customers do this Branson will be laughing at the other side of his face!

Also you're meant to get free passes for friends every couple of months, they stopped after recieving 2!
