You're right Phill, we spend most of our time going round with our eyes shut - seeing what we expect and are familiar with.Close enough to home to be used to it and a daily journey past it for years and 'familiar in the mind's eye was the best I could manage. We must miss so much of what's around us.

Yes your right Chameleon.Its only since i started using this site and also looking through phill's photos that i have actually started looking up at buildings and taken things in.There's some beautiful stuff in Leeds you just have to look for it

Can't help now but have the feeling that so much from the has already gone.

That used to be St Johns C of E Primary school, when I went to Braimwood (which was next door).Fully agree about taking the time to appreciate your surroundings - Leeds has lots of wonders, hidden away in plain view if only we take the time to look.
