Hi guys.I'm wondering if anyone can help me here.Sometime last year i read in the Y.E.P about an old cinema in West Yorkshire (pretty certain it was Normanton)It was now lived in. If i recall correctly the cinema roof was now off and the sloped seating area was like a terraced garden. The front of the cinema was the living space and the stage area was still intact. It looked really curious.I thought i'd saved the paper but can't find it now.Can anyone remember the story or what the cinema was called? The only thing i've come up with so far is this place herehttp://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/364104

However looking at this picture makes me think that you are right, because the living quarters upstairs at the front "seem right" in my recollection.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
