Hi guys.Does anyone know were the little police holding cell/station is at Woodhouse. I believe it was for locking up drunks on a night. I've seen it mentioned on a Leeds fact/fiction and myth site on the net but can't find it again. All help is most grateful.Cheers

Isn't it now a pub. forget its name, the Library or Firkin or something. Corner of Woodhouse Lane and Clarendon Road. One side had a small police station and the other side was a public library.Wehn the pub first opened me an some other got into the clock tower, right behind the clock face, via a ladder to a hatch in the ceiling of the gents upstairs. Then some sod took the ladder away and we had to wait for someone to come and rescue us.

It was more like holding cells as opposed to a working Police station so i'm led to believe. I think it has been mentioned on S.L before although finding it is like a needle in a haystack!
