Its on Longthorpe Lane in Lofthouse (just past Robin Hood on the A61) According to leodis it was built in 1933 and was known, despite its location as Rothwell Grammar School originally. (its not in LS26 but WF3).This is pic is from Leodis - in style its very like Roundhay or the former Lawnswood school.

there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

Rodillian School as it stood was a mixture of 3 developments. The original 1930's build as shown in the picture, an extension to the back of this added in the early 60's and a further extension in the 1970's to facilitate the change from grammar to secondary school. As far as I am aware it is the intention to demolish the 60's & 70's extensions whilst retaining the original 1930's build. This was my stamping ground in the late 70's early 80's and have many fond memorys of the place and its teachers. One name for you Reggie and any others who walked it's hallowed corridors - Mr Gentle!

That is keep the original 1930s facade with new building behind rather than just demolish the lot as they did at Lawnswood.

I honestly don't know. There was an open day to go round and look, some months ago but I couldn't make it. I hope they don't lose the facade as it is a really beautiful ( I can appreciate it now I'm not heading toward it fro double hard sums). The Sports hall has alsobeen demolished which seems like a waste as it was not that old (maybe 30 years old and of brich construction).
