Martyn wrote: Is it possible to create a hyperlink without the entire url showing on screen? Most of them are quite long and make the screen very wide. They won't work if you spread them over a few lines, only the top line is active.Got it now. You have to use URL Description i ... ption"]URIWill result in a clickable link of URI, with the description set to the text specified as the description. The link will open in a new window.Example:Square bracket url description="HnD homepage"]http://www.llblgen.com/HnD[/url] will result in:HnD homepage     *I had to type the words Square bracket 'cos I couldn't stop it creating the clickable link. It's a bit fiddly but just cut and paste the bit from the help page example and modify the bits you need.Cheers.

Wot am I doing wrong with my user icon? I can't get it to appear at all. It's a jpg file on me own website http://www.siddles.me.uk in the root directory. I've set the thing to 59 x59 to get within the size limit and it's only 2k in size. When I upload it, it appears as a thin red bar but I suppose that's because the administrators have to approve it for suitability. Then the next day it's a square with a cross in the corner like you get when the browser can't find an image. It's only a picture of a couple of pints of beer, Black Sheep Riggwelter in the Head of Steam, Huddersfield.Twopints.jpgHelp!

When you are setting the user icon on your profile, make sure that you are not duplicating the http bit, as it is already given as a prefix to that box on the profile form.

Finally sussed it!I use SmartFTP to upload images to my web site. This program puts suffixes on such as jpg in capitals.Secret Leeds doesn't like this.I've changed it to lower case and all is well.It also helps to put images like this in a sub-directory.
