old football teams

i am looking for any info on the following long gone football teams Leeds Rifles, Saville Green. any help will be appreciated

From memory of a team not a million miles,did they
play in the Red Triangle League?

these are teams were formed in the late Victorian and early edwardian era.

I can't find any reference to Leeds Rifles & Saville Green. This is from the Leeds Mercury 6th Sept 1909

If you've not already read it Mike Greens "Football in Leeds: The origin and development of. A short study" is the best book on the history of football in Leeds.

A quick search, Leeds Riffles appear in a fixture list for Rugby games in 1885, to be played at Leeds Park Royal. I'll keeping digging if I get any chance.
