I have just suddenly realised that the profile and aims of this forum are to do with Secret and Subterranean Leeds and here I am posting all and sundry. I do apologise if I have inadvertently offended anyone and I will try to think of something on topic to post in future. Once again sincere apologies. It is a terrific forum by the way

Absolutely not.You will find all manner of things relating to Leeds on here.Granted the site is called 'Secret Leeds' But there is only so much 'secret leeds' to cover before it's exhausted. The site evolved into quirky tales, Local stories, Fact/fiction and myth, a bit of fun and banter for good measure e.t.c. In everyones opinion it is a far better, and more interesting site for it.Carry on Kenneth

It is a terrific forum by the way Phill is correct. Secrets are things that not a lot of people know about and in this Forum that might now be because most of the people that did know about them are long gone. The purpose of the Forum is to spread knowledge of Leeds underground and overground, past, present and future and to keep a written record of it. So Specialist Photo Shops, Leeds Folk Clubs and Coffee bars of the Sixties and the Humble beginnings of a Leeds born artist are very relevant to this site even if "Genral Chat" is their most suitable positioning. The future and past of Salem Church most definitely belongs in the buildings section.Feel free to keep reminding the Oldies of Leeds gone by and enlightening the younger contributors

At first, that's largely the way it was Kenneth but the site has developed and evolved into what you see today, there is little that doesn't have a place here and it is often an off-the cuff comment that can mobilise the the grey matter of half of Leeds and bring a torrent of activity - and it's amazing what can turn up!What we see today will after all be tomorrow's past and if there is one thing we know, it's how precious little has been documented in the past for us to benefit from now - cnosni's new flickr group Modern Leodis is such an example and the kind of thinking there should be more of.And don't worry - you've a long way to go before your posts are 'inappropriate' - we've had plenty of experience there haven't we folks
