Hi all - thanks to everybody who came down and made it such a great evening, a spot on birthday bash all round.Great to put faces to names, and also very nice to met a few of the SecretLeeds widows, widowers and orphans out there, whose 'significant others' have spent far too much of the last year on this website And of course, congratulations to the future Mr and Mrs Ackers on their engagement! As for all you others who couldn't make it, I reckon a follow-up do should definitely be scheduled sooner than 2012. Could become a regular thread in the Nightlife section...Cheers,dsco

dsco - devastated I couldn't make it, especially after such a lengthy time preparing for it. I mentioned further up that more regular get-togethers might be an idea, and phill reports that this was indeed mentioned.... Good idea to me.

Phil, that would be great of the piccie of Sam in the "big chair", cheers.

a bit of a shame i couldnt stay longer and meet those of you that i missed, had to go to Rhinos though.Tyke Bhoy your curse did not work, the boys did well against a top team, god luck to the Hawks though!!I would be more than happy to attend a regular meeting and try and catch those Secret Leedsers that i missed. You never know we could get Wiggy up from his enforced exile in the land of weak beer. Thanks to Munki and dsco for organising the do and the tour,i understand there were a good few on the second tour. Those of us on the first witnessed Phill_d twitch on a couple of occasions, firstly at the mention of a tunnel under the main hall and again when a bricked up door that led to some unkown destination was pointed out.I was really enjoying myself when it was time to go and also missed out on the grub, but the Sams festival ale was very good, well at least me and our lass and simonm thought so.Lets not let the opportunity for another get together slip away, lets do something positive.Any suggestions?

'Those of us on the first witnessed Phill_d twitch on a couple of occasions, firstly at the mention of a tunnel under the main hall and again when a bricked up door that led to some unkown destination was pointed out.''....Never mind the door - pass the jack hammer' was heard to be uttered through the ether - can read your thoughts phill!Yes, we need a home, Leeds is big enough to find somewhere to meet.
