Hi Everyone
I have an 1891 Census record for my family. They are listed as living on “Old Garden Walk”. Sub registration district South East Leeds.
Can anyone help me find where this was?
Many thanks
Bob

Re: Missing Leeds Street
The 1889 map below shows Old Garden Walk behind St Mary's RC chapel. It was not then very populated.By 1908 (second map) the area had been redeveloped and part of the walk seems to have been where Bertha mount was, the remainder being under Ada Road and other roads[attachment=0]map 1889 showing old garden walk. the files I have are too large, so will reduce the area and post separately. First the 1889 map[attachment=0]map 1889 showing old garden walkA.

Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?
