Hi SiThere are elements and the motto of The Duke of Wellington's Coat of Arms in the Dukes cap badge but it looks quite different overall.

Cheers Lee.That was what struck me when i got the answer from the CWGC in April, it was a momnet of elaation that was followed by quiet reflection taht this was just a lad who died as a a veteran at the age of 20.If anyone is interested i have been doing a piece on his life based around the records i have unearthed and also from what we know about his life in the army from the Dukes archives, which is quite interesting.Would it be appropriate to start putting it on SL a bit at a time?

I perceive SL as a research site as opposed to the majority of (supposedly) similar sites which are basically picture galleries. I can't think of anything here recently with the sheer quantity and quality of serious research you have put into your project, and I am sure most of us would like to see more.
