The thud of the huge press at Kirstall forge, why did they have to use it in the early hours. It must have been murder for folks close to the forge. It used to get us in Armley.Paper sellers in town shouting "Greeeen Finaaaaaal" at tea-time on a saturday.

I miss the sound of that 'Hammer' Used to fall asleep to the pounding when i lived in Horsforth!!
