I agree Blakey....it goes without saying (hee hee...another duff expression if ever there was one). I am greatly irritated by people who say sumpthink,or somethink instead of something!

Nice one, anthonydna!
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ, moves on; nor all thy Piety nor all thy Wit can call it back to cancel half a Line, nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

Another infuriating and incomprehensible manner of speech which is spreading like wildfire goes on ad infinitum something like this :TWO PEOPLE HAVING A CONVERSATIONShe's like "Where are you going?'n I'm like "Mind yerown business"'n she's like "It is my business"'n I'm like "No it int"' she's like "Oh please yerself then."I sometimes wonder if a recent Act of Parliament has outlawed that old faithful and perfectly adequate word "SAID."
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

My grandchildren here in the U.S. tease me because they say that I say Chooseday instead of Tuesday. Never noticed that I did.
