My great grandad used to get inebriated in the Pineapple inn. Never had much of a clue exactly where it was until the excellent "old maps" provided a large scale 1930's map showing it by name (instead of "PH")and leodis dug out some more of the Leeds City Engineers photographs.
Not a great angle but a fantastic link to the past for me.
