The Crooked Billet has now disappeared. The land taken over by SKODA.

It's still around but in a new guise over the road as the Crooked Clock, landlord and team took over the Punch Clock when I presume the lease ended on the Billet a few years back, unsure what the circumstances for the move was but bearing in mind DM Keith have taken over the Billet building the lease must have ended.

I passed it yesterday and it was flat to the ground. so many happy memories in there, it was my mum & dads favourite pub along with the red lion and the wellington.
