The YEP today (Nov 19 2010) reports that Whitelocks, in Turk's Head Yard off Briggate, is for sale. No price indication was given. The pub is currently owned by Chennell Armstrong of York, who also own the Whittakers in Otley, the Black Bull in Wetherby and the Woodman Inn at Thunderbridge in Huddersfiled, which are all also up for sale.I hope whoever buys the Whitelocks maintains its appeal. Edit added shortly after I posted. Apologies, I had not seen that a message about the sale of Whitelocks had already been started under the 'Leeds lost pubs' thread.
