The New Scarborough on Dewsbury Road, Tingley is expected to close tonight. The current occupants are leaving tomorrow, Tuesday 13th July, and I believe there is no one to take over the business. The pub itself has been badly run down recently by a couple who were not up to the job.Whether Mr Metal Shutters turns up to do his bit to this Enterprise House remains to be seen.The pub is in a nice area and at one time was a very busy local with a good reputation for food. It would be nice if Ossett or Leeds took it over, but I expect Enterprise will be looking to find another set of idiots to pour their money into it.Tingley Drinker Sorry, new to the group and I have posted in the wrong place!
