Hi I too have just found this site. Iwas a regular there back in the day. Does anyone have photos of the doormen there?

Is it possible for you to provide any names? There are a number of bouncers/doormen who ‘did the rounds’ over the time between the 60’s and 80’s and worked at most pubs and clubs. Typical examples would be Tony Hardcastle, Jim Moran, Kenny Dobson, Marco Marrocco, etc.

I used to live there(six sometimes seven days a week)from about 1974/79,the D.J.incidently was Norman,he used to wear those floppy Superfly hats which were the rage at the time, everytime i picture him i think of the disco hit"Get Dancin"by Disco Tex and the Sex-o-Lettes .
