Haven't been upstairs at the Cardigan Arms for a while as the function room has been converted to a music venue. Was in there yesterday and both the victorian fireplaces, mirrors and associated woodwork have been ripped out and replaced by hardboard. The place has had a succesion of landlords recently and isn't a patch on what it used to be. Grrrr.
