Sad to say it's had it's dayThe Stump Cross will no moreBe a thriving pub, no more good grubBefore the smoking lawZippo here for the final demise of such a classic old pub it's a great shame, I think that in 10/15yrs time the roadside booser will be no more, unless they overturn the smoking ban. It will take a lot of time and money now to ever restore pubs back to the 'good ol' days'

I used to go in the Stump fairly regularly on a Friday evening, but got out of the habit because of the oppressive smoke. I used to stink of tobacco the following day, due to it being such an intimate bar presumably.
