Have heard a few comments by others that this public house is a bit dire and morbid, but I have been a regular since 2002 and it's far from the truth. Friday night has Karaoke (I know....do they still do that sort of thing) and on Saturday nights a very good DJ spins the discs with music from the past, plus a very good `pop quiz` enjoyed by all. Maybe the said reporters didn't venture out on these particular nights, I don't know, but give them a try you may be pleasantly surprised.signed the resident DJ

I go in the Stump occasionally, they usually have a good guest beer in there. Since the smoking ban it's a lot pleasanter - it used to get very smokey. It's true that it's one of the few decent pubs in Morley. My lad said today that he's heard that the Sycamore on High Street was closing. God knows where I'll watch the Grand Final next month!
