[quotenick="Steve266"]Speaking of lost pubs who remembers the Anchor in hunslet near to the Morrisons supermarketTetley's house I remember the Anchor from the early 1960s. On a Sunday morning Middleton Broom Colliery had first aid training there; the courses finished at 1200 noon just as the bar openned!! I must confess to having had a couple or few after attending the training. If I remember correctly Jeff Stephenson who played hooker for Leeds was the landlord.

Does anyone remember The Moonraker pub from the early 70's? Inside it was all done out as a moon scape. I was only a young teenager when my dad managed it but I remember thinking how 'cool' it was inside lol. Unfortunately we were not there long as it was too far for me to travel to Abbey Grange school :-(

The Bulls Head in Holbeck has reopened.
there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.
