there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

Cheers for that Phill. Actually I had a scout round the waste ground at the back - but couldn't see any evidence of a shelter.

I like the plated over bulbous end of the bay window shot you got there drapsey.. As with all air raid shelters there pretty hard to find if they've been filled in with 50 years of mother nature at work.. It needs a local with the knowledge to pin point it i reckon...

(incidentally - the picture resizer you recommended is a godsend).

There's something strange happens to buildings when they close.. It's a surreal sad feeling to them. It looks like the Sandford will get flattened a.s.a.p, but i love when you get mother nature start to get a hold inside as well. There far better photos to be had than say walking around the park snapping flowers i think..

Good work drapesy.Well captured.Brewery Hill won't look the sameonce the Sandford gets levelled. There was a magnificent view from the large bay window all the way down the valley to the city centre and beyond.

love those pics, what a beautiful day it was, i go to work in the dark and come home in the dark, so how long do you think i'd last behind the pub looking in the undergrowth at 7pm? even at my quietest, my scaredy knees knocking would give me away!

Not to mention falling down a big hole when the torch goes out! Certainly was a lovely day, everything looks so crisp when photograhed in this light, tied to the office most of the day though.(....looking carefully through the undergrowth around the Sandford, wondering if Jane's other nick-name has anything to do with her only coming out in the dark )
