North Tavern that was on North Street.

I missed another pub on the right going down North Street, that was the Smithfield Hotel between Back Byron Street and St Thomas Row. Behind the pub was the Smithfield Iron Works.

That certainly was some grand place, it seems it closed 1900 and became Thomas (Tommy ) Greens engineering works. a fine building.
