The Belle Isle pub was converted into a Residential Care Home not flats
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

Hi buffaloskinner ,I should have said the former pub that’s now flats is on Balm Road, the pub was The Railway Inn,but I know the building you mean ,over the road from it was The Grey Goose now a shop and separate takeaway,The Malvpub on Beeston Hill is also a mini supermarket same as the pub on Top Moor Side Holbeck just down from three was The Spotted Cow ,it was demolished a few years ago and a block of flats is on the site now !
