Haven't been upstairs at the Cardigan Arms for a while as the function room has been converted to a music venue. Was in there yesterday and both the victorian fireplaces, mirrors and associated woodwork have been ripped out and replaced by hardboard. The place has had a succesion of landlords recently and isn't a patch on what it used to be. Grrrr.

That's how to attract the punters - remove all fittings of interest and distinction. They did it at The Albion too.Well done!!! (Please note heavy sarcasm.)

It really pi55es me off when mindless landlords/brewery managers do this sort of thing!
