SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

Shortly after Nanny Beck in Alwoodley runs near the Babbling Baby Spring it normally briefly runs under a track but during a visit yesterday (Aug 22 2021) I noticed it was running over the track, presumably due to some blockage as the beck flow seemed only a little higher than normal. For whatever reason Nanny Beck this year has been noticeably increasingly eroding its sides around here, particularly just after where it normally runs under the track. I have added the 2 photos I took yesterday (before the heavy rain later) showing the beck running over the track. The beck runs from right to left in the first and left to right in the second.
