I recall cycling to Post Hill with a friend in my late teens. I actually had no idea where it was as he lead the way and I hadn't been near there by any other mode of transport so couldn't find it on my OS map. Thank you for reminding me of the place -- I really must try to find a way to cycle there and back some time if I get a little more fit.

Thanks guys!!Must admit, in terms of getting up the hill, I'm not looking forward to itI am a fell-runner, but this one is rather silly!!It even puts Trooper Lane, over at Halifax into the shade!!! (& that gains 570 feet in half-a-mile!!, on cobbles), I ran...& walked!!.... up that in the 'Bluebell Trail 10-Mile', courtesy of the Stainland Lionshttp://www.stainlandlions.com/ (see top-left for link to 'BT 10')This is the 'Trooper'http://thehelloftheworth.blogspot.co.uk ... -lane.html
