I know we've covered the old W.W.1 Barnbow munitions factory in previous threads. But i was just doing a bit of Recce work on Google earth, street view, and Bing maps. How cool is technology? You needn't leave your computer to even check things out these days. All angles, obstacles, and barriers are well sussed before you even get there. Armchair exploration at it's best Anyway... I noticed some very clear, well defined earthworks along Manston lane. I'll upload the images and see what you guys think. I've heard of the water tanks that were supposed to be around that area. I've no idea if these are anyway connected. Apologies if they've been covered before (but i don't think they have)

They certainly apear on the map of the site which is on here somewhere - my copy is not too clear and I can't make out the lettering.A full-size version is displayed in the Heritage side room in Crossgates Library if you wanted a 'close up' view.

Not sure if this was one of the four buildings but even if it wasn't, it wouldn't be altogether different.
