I saw this while I was looking at the google maps website. It appears to be a field full of stuff all laid out in rows for no particular reason. I am sure that the items cant be permanently left like this as they would go rusty / get stolen etc. I wonder what was going on. If you want to have a look for yourself then find the marina on the Leeds to Liverpool canal at Rodley and scroll roughly north west a few drags of your mouse. I think the pictures on google maps are a few years old as I noticed my VW campervan is still parked outside my block of flats and I got rid of that years ago! Anyway I hope somebody has some suggestions as to what this arrangement of items in the field is cos I am very puzzled.[/URL]

Just looked, and to me it looks like lots of farm machinery and implements as most if not all have towing arms. Does seem strange where they are though and I wonder if they have been layed out in that field for inspection or to be sold.

It does look like farm machines and stuff all laid out when you zoom into it. Maybe it was a sale or an auction of something. I'm tempted to knock on the farm door and ask them what it is all for...
