Coming across an active Minotaur outside W H Smith's is not my idea of an attraction blackprince!

Doea anyone think the lancastrian school has anything to do with this?
According to leodis it was opened in 1812 so the dates fit and was situated on what is now the bourse and the multi storey car park on new station Street
Its certainly close by

This picture here actually shows how 'close' it is

Also worth noting that when the school was built the arches would not have existed and there may have been a more direct route to it.
