Is what it says in discreet lettering on the pristine, well-kept Toyota transit van.But one night, from the side windows of the West End House Pub on Kirkstall Rd we saw it 'unloading' at the 'good in' entrance to Funeral Parlour next door.
http://goo.gl/maps/AyIOI hope it isn't just me who sees it in the rear view mirror when driving, or as I'm about to cross the road as pedestrian and as I cycle around town centre...

I used to drink at the West End and the private ambulance was an occasional sight. I won't say it was sobering, I was usually on my third or fourth pint.My sister used to be the repatriations co-ordinator for the Co-op in London. She arranged to bring home people who had died abroad or even elsewhere in the country, and managed three private ambulances who went everywhere. The drivers would sometimes overnight in the van, which must have been cosy.

Previously though it had been the Abbey Cinema for many years. Here's a picture of it (behind the tram!) that I snipped from Leodis.
