Hi. A few years ago, my mother & I went to Wetherby from Leeds, and walked the disused railway to Spofforth. We had dinner in the Railway Pub. Whilst waiting to be served, we experienced a phenomenon, where the menu board which had been fixed to the wall, suddenly moved upwards and forwards, knocking the table mats and a few glasses to the floor. We asked the bar staff about the "happening", and we were informed that it happens fairly frequently. Apparently, a former landlord commited suicide in the cellar. It is more of a poltergeist than a ghost sighting.
