Where can i get a fairy door ? LOL - i want one !! see what happens..Yes i can see why you were scared to continue when you got home - being on your own and not knowing what to do -that would have been more than scary - and probably dangerous. I know a lot of people think the ouija board is a load of rubbish, but i had a really bad experience with one years ago, and i don`t think i would dare do it again. It absolutely scared the life out of me. I was with a group of friends in my house, and we decided to just do it, as i had one in the house. I haven`t a clue where it came from - someone must have given it to me. After a while of the initial messing about you always get when everyone`s had a drink or two - it got really serious - and my maiden name was spelt out. I was so shocked because not one person in that room knew my maiden name - and my husband was dyslexic. My maiden name is KIRLEW - an extremely rare name - we are the only family with that name - it originates from france. Some very nasty and evil things started to be spelt out and we packed up coz we got scared. I got no peace for a few days - and the nights were an absolute nightmare. I started to dread darkness falling - and even day time seemed to have a dark heavy feel to it that i can`t explain. My husband and i kept hearing footsteps across the landing, walking up and downstairs etc, pots being moved about downstairs in the kitchen. In the end i had to call a woman i know who lives in bristol, and ask her to come over for a couple of days. She is very psychic, and brilliant at this sort of thing. She went barmy with me ! She said you should never mess with the ouija board if you don`t know what you`re doing - you can get an evil spirit in your house - and you have to know how to move it on. She said it had to be 'closed properly' - and the spirits left in peace - and that`s what we didn`t do. We had to sit through the ouija board again that night, while she spoke to this man - who was called leonard - and had apparently been stabbed to death. She sent him packing - and the house was peaceful after that. I have never done the ouija board since ! I must admit though, there is a small part of me that would like to..i wouldn`t do it without a 'professional' there though - and i would want to do it in SOMEONE ELSE`S house this time !

LOL Franwick!!! Like I've said, it's not a tool to be messed with if you don't understand how to open and close it. Basically it's like unlocking and locking a door. Leave your front door unlocked and any undesirable could wander in, it's the same thing. Who's to say the spirit world is any different. We've had quite a few emotional 'clearings' at my development group lately, using the Ouija. A girl came through a couple of weeks ago. She just sort of butted in!!! She said she was called Abi and she was 14. That's just how she spelt it. I asked if she had family with her and she said no. We then realised from questions we asked her, that she was stuck in the darkness. I asked if she could see the light, she said yes, but she was scared to go towards it, in case there was no-one to meet her there. We asked if there was anyone she'd been close to on earth, who was now in spirit? She said yes. So we guided her to them. We asked if she could see the family member waiting for her, she said yes. We told her we'd all be with her as she met them and until she was safely holding their hand. All she spelt out after that was 'thank you', over and over again!!! Even her goodbye had 'thank you' at the end!!! I swear to God, there wasn't one of us with a dry eye!!! I was bawling like a newborn!!! It is so lovely to help someone in that way, but very emotionally draining!!!We had another one, a man who said he'd not been very nice in this life and was scared of the consequences of going into the light and that he thought his spirit family would turn their back on him. We explained that that certainly wouldn't be the case at all! His dad came to meet him and again, it was thank you's all round! (And AGAIN, Deb cried like a baby!!)
It's just so rewarding to be able to help the lost ones. You feel like you've done some good! Deb x

Thanks deb. I love the little fairy doors - never seen one before - never even heard of them. I will definately be getting one - hope i don`t get bad fairies ! lol. When you say you go to your meetings - where are they and can anyone join..?I`m not saying i think i have any special gift or anything, but i would love to see what happens. One night i had a terrible dream - i don`t know exactly what happened in the dream, but i woke up absolutely terrified. I was telling my husband about it, and all i could remember really was that it involved police and ambulance at the house, and something to do with the kids. I was in a right state and couldn`t get back to sleep, and my husband kept saying it`s ok, don`t worry, the kids are ok. It left me with a really bad feeling. That was in the early hours of the saturday morning. My husband went to work, and a couple of hours later i had a call from my sister in law telling me that my sister`s baby had died in the early hours, of cot death ! When i got to my sister`s house, and my mother told me what had happened, it was exactly as i had dreamt it - police and ambulance at the house - but instead of my house, it was hers. Do you think there was something in that - or was it just a coincidence..?

I'm inclined to think maybe its a leg pull because the name when posted on Google just comes up with Aussie stuff. I work in Quarry House and although I've never experienced anything, one of my colleagues who used to be a security officer and had to patrol the building at night is utterly convinced beyond any doubt that it is haunted. It is the north end (towards Agnes Stewart school) of the 7th floor where cold spots and draughts are often felt alongwith a sense of being watched and not being alone. I avoid going up there (I have no need to anyway) as I can sense when a place is haunted and it scares the living daylights out of me. I don't hear voices or see anything - I can just feel it. I've had a few experiences that I would not like to repeat and although the idea of developing a possible 'gift' intrigues me I worry that if I do and am not comfortable with it, that I won't be able to turn it off.

Hi wickedwitch. I went into Quarry House once, when I took someone to the gym. I didn't like it down there either! In fact, although I could have stayed in there with them I chose to go sit in the foyer, as I didn't like the feel of the place! If you start to develop and get scared, you can stop any time! Spirit won't scare you, they want to work with you, but will only give you things they think you can handle. My development is progressing much better now my fear has subsided a lot. Before I was scared of everything, now I just take it as it comes and I know I won't get anything I can't cope with. You ought to give Fearnville a try, just come and see the mediums at work and then see if you want to take it further. I'm loving it now!

,Hmmm? I dont know where to start, with my spooky tales. . . This is for Leedslas. . The Bond Street Centre- which is now Leeds Shopping Plaza. My daughters Dad is a scaffolder,he worked on that building when it became Plaza, working 6pm-3am. He said it was wierd, especially when u get to a certain point. It goes deathly silent. Even as they worked(scaffolders remember). His workmate was furthest away. 1 night he climbed down + quit the job., Post

mmmm. i'm very sceptic about all this paranormal activity......... Well that was untill this morning when we thought we'd take ourselves off for a little jolly in the countryside for some nice fresh air to keep ourselves out of mischieve in the big city. Isn't this nice we thought... What better way to spend a Saturday morning out in the country on a beautifull autumn day? We'd spent about 5 minutes photographing the dark arch of Parlington hall, Aberford. Not a soul to be seen when suddenly we felt the hairs on the back of our neck stand on end with a great draught of air blow from behind us and............ well looking at this picture now i'm not so sure we DID imagine the sound of children running, skipping & laughing as they ran through the tunnel. I think this is far more convincing than those little bits of dust Dereck Acorah calls light anomolies What do you think?
