I run a local website called www.ColtonVillage.com. I've had this picture posted on the history section of the site for a few years. In this time I've had a lot of interest-but to date no one can shed any further light on it.All comments regarding details & dates etc.?Graham

Can't help, but what a brilliant photo! Get rid of the train and people and that bridge hasn't changed.

There's nothing else I've been able to find on the WWW about it, but armed with a date you might be able to check paper archives.

Thanks for the info - This looks like it was a fairly major incident - you think there would be some information out there!??I've had a good scout around in the past on the net without success. There may now be a lead...I've also emailed the website with the photo to see if they can shed any light on the matter.
